Tokyo Dining Reopening At EPCOT on August 27th

Walt Disney World has announced that Tokyo Dining will be reopening in the Japan Pavilion on August 27th at EPCOT. They had reopened for a short amount of time during the holidays but then re closed. Their hours are 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays through Mondays. This is an upscale dining option, and some tables have a beautiful view of EPCOT World Showcase Lagoon. It is very authentic Japanese Cuisine, and you don’t even need a passport. Many Guests from all over the world say this is a must do dining option because of the delicious sushi, and it is extremely popular.

Some of the menu options include:

 

Otsumami: Edamame, Garden Salad, Crab Cakes, Crab Salad, Miso Soup, Wagyu Wrap, Kamo Roast. 

Sushi Roll Options: Spicy Crunch Sushi Roll, California Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Vegetable Roll, Hako Rainbow, Unagi Avocado Roll. 

Sashimi: Fresh Sashimi Sampler, Bluefin Tuna, Seared Salmon.

Donburi: Unagi Don, Salmon Ikura, Don, Mini Chirashi. 

Assorted Tempura (Shrimp, Assorted Vegetables) or Tempura/Sushi Roll Combo (Shrimp, Vegetable Tempura and California Roll)

Kids Entrees include California Roll or Shrimp Tempura

There are also different beer selections along with sake, liquor, Japanese whiskey, wine and cocktails. 

Spots will fill up quickly so make sure to make a reservation so you’re guaranteed in. You can easily make a reservation on the My Disney Experience App or on the Walt Disney World website.  One of the great things about EPCOT’s World Showcase is you can try foods from all over the world. You can have lunch in Japan and dinner in Mexico. Being able to have a taste of cultures from all around the world in one place is an incredible experience. Who said educational things couldn’t be fun?
