Virtual Queue Reservations Required to Meet Santa Claus?

If you’re hoping to meet Santa Claus at Disney Springs this holiday season, you won’t have to wait much longer. He will make an appearance starting Friday, November 12th. Things look much different than they used to before the COVID-19 pandemic and different protocols are in place. Instead of a normal line to meet Santa Claus, you’ll be able to grab a virtual queue. It is the same system they used for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and currently use for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT. You can go on My Disney Experience, and the virtual queue will open at 9 a.m. and again at 4 p.m. if there are any remaining spots available. Guests must be at Disney Springs to join.

There is no word yet if it will be the social distance character meet and greets like at the parks or if you will be able to give Santa a hug. Once we get that information will be sure to give it to you. He will be appearing at Once Upon a Toy from November 12th through December 24th.

While you’re at Disney Springs, make sure to check out all the beautiful decorations. There will be holiday decorations all around and many different photo opportunities available. Remember, you do not need to have a Theme Park ticket to Disney Springs, and another bonus is that parking is free.
