Wait Times Low at Walt Disney World

If you were planning on visiting Walt Disney World in September it might be a perfect time. Since schools are back in session, there are fewer tourists visiting Orlando. That being said, there are much lower crowds at all of the theme parks. If you are local and have an Annual Pass or decide to have a day trip or staycation, this may be the perfect time for you. In all four of the Walt Disney World theme parks, we have seen very low wait times and low crowd counts.

The availability calendar is wide open for Annual Passholders, Disney Resort Guests, and Ticket Holders. All Guests are required to have a Disney Park Pass reservation to enter the Park. If you have the Park Hopper option on your ticket at 2 p.m. you can enter a second Park. Walt Disney World is very strict that all members of your party must have a valid reservation for that day. Walt Disney World has taken many precautions to keep all their Guests and Cast Members as safe as possible. Face coverings are required indoors and on all attractions. They are optional outside so use your discretion. We all must do our part to keep each other safe and stop the spread of COVID-19.

If you are visiting Walt Disney World in September it is the perfect opportunity to catch a couple of the firework shows before they are gone forever. At Magic Kingdom, you can catch Happily Ever After, and the final show will be on September 29th, 2021. If you’re at EPCOT and want to see EPCOT Forever one more time, you have until September 28th, 2021. Starting on October 1st, 2021, for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World at Magic Kingdom, you will be able to catch Disney Enchantment, and over at EPCOT you can see Harmonious
