Have you ever dreamed of becoming part of the Walt Disney Imagineering Team, but had no idea how to get your foot in the door? If you’re a college student, that dream could be one step closer to becoming a reality. Disney Careers has released a list of summer internships!
There are now five different internships that Disney Careers is accepting applications for. They are WDW Revenue Planning & Optimization Internship, Commercial Strategy Data Science Internship, DPEP Telecom Business Analyst Internship, Operations Data Visualization Internship, and Performance Analytics & Insights Data Internship.

All positions are in either Lake Buena Vista, Florida, or Celebration, Florida. Lake Buena Vista is the town that most of Walt Disney World is located in. Celebration is nearby, and Disney has offices there.
The educational requirements from the Disney Careers website for all of the internships are as follows:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
- You’ll be a junior/senior or graduate level student, or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or other related quantitative fields
There is also additional information that you will want to consider before you apply:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must be compliant with The Disney Lookappearance guidelines.
- Must provide full work availability
- All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
- Must provide own transportation to/from work
- Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
- Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2022 – August 2022
Those accepted will be offered housing through American Campus Communities.
