We have some exciting news for all of the guests out there who love Mobile Ordering. We previously announced that the original roll out was complete, but it looks like Walt Disney World isn’t finished adding locations to Mobile Ordering. Harambe Market in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be the next location to offer the new service from within the My Disney Experience mobile app. August 21st is the planned first day for the location to officially offer Mobile Ordering. Starting on this date, guests will be able to log into My Disney Experience and complete their food order from with in the mobile app and pay for it. Once they arrive, they will be able to pick up their order from the window and enjoy without ever having to wait in the long lines. This can save guests a lot of time!

With the service, guests are able to order and pay for their meal via My Disney Experience on their phones. Once they arrive at the restaurant, then they can check the “I am here” button and the location will start prepping your food. You receive a notification when your food is ready and which window to go and pick up the food from. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, unfortunately you won’t be able to to use the service since it is currently isn’t synced with the Disney Dining Plans. We definitely hope that this will be an enhancement in the future!
What do you all think of Mobile Ordering so far? Do you think other locations are potential to be added?
