Walt Disney World Announces 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays & Candlelight Processional

Even though we are almost to the summer months, we are already getting extremely excited for the holiday events at Walt Disney World coming up later this year.  Disney Parks Blog announced the dates for the 2018 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays and the Candlelight Processional.  For The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, the event will be offered on November 18th through December 30th.  This year for the first time ever, the Candlelight Processional will open on Thanksgiving Day, which is November 22nd and run through December 30th.

Candlelight Processional at Epcot

During the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, there will be a variety of holiday storytellers and fun at each of the pavilions within the World Showcase.  There will also be a special holiday version of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, too.

The Candlelight Processional is one of the most popular holiday events at Walt Disney World.  The event is a retelling of the Christmas story.  The story is read by a celebrity narrator who is accompanied by an orchestra and choir.
