Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Specialty Gift for Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival Announced

There are definitely a lot of great perks to being an Annual Passholder at Walt Disney World.  These lucky guests receive numerous discounts on resort stays, dining, merchandise, recreational activities and more.  They also receive invitations to special events, special merchandise, special dining experiences and more.  There are often many different times where Annual Passholders also receive special free gifts for attending different events and happenings and Walt Disney World.  In recent years there has been a specialty gift given for Annual Passholders that frequent Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival and it looks like the free gifts are returning this year.

The free item this year has been announced to be themed buttons to commemorate the 2017 event at the park.  There are three different designs for the buttons with each featuring Remy from Ratatouille.  Comments on various groups and social media sites haven’t been too positive about the buttons given that last year the gift was a glass tumbler etched with the name of the event and such.  It does seem like a downgrade going from the glass gift item to buttons, but it is still always nice to get extra things that are above and beyond what is included with the Annual Passholder membership.

If you are a passholder and want to get your button, they will only be available while supplies last.  You will also be required to present your annual pass along with a valid ID in order to receive your button.

What do you all think of the buttons as the specialty gift for the 2017 International Food & Wine Festival?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
