Walt Disney World to Celebrate the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Unit

We have exciting news about a special celebration scheduled to take place at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.  This year is the centennial year for the U. S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Unit, and they will receive their own special celebration to commemorate this momentous occasion.  The fun is all scheduled to go down on August 10th, 2017 at Magic Kingdom theme park.  The division was founded during World War I, and the 82nd Airborne Division will be in Orlando for a special convention in the city to commemorate the centennial anniversary.

Here are the events scheduled as part of the special celebration:

  • The 82nd Airborne Division has a 16-member chorus who will perform in the Liberty Square area of the theme park at 1:45 PM.
  • The 82nd Airborne Division also has a brass quintet that will perform various patriotic music for guests in the Town Square area at 4 PM.  This performance is expected to last around 15 minutes.
  • There will be a special American flag retreat ceremony in the Town Square area of the park at 5 PM.

This is such a special way to pay tribute to this amazing celebration for our U. S. Army.  Who will be at the park on August 10th to enjoy this amazing celebration?
