We have exciting details from Disney Parks Blog about the upcoming 2017 Disney PhotoPass Day at Walt Disney World. During the event there will be special PhotoPass opportunities in addition to all of the regular spots and character meetings throughout the park. It is all expected to take place on August 19th, so your photo smiles and poses ready! During this fun event you have your pictures taken at the photo spots by a PhotoPass photographer. Then you will be able to access all of your photos from your My Disney Experience account to view and determine which ones you want. If you plan to collect a bunch of the photos, you can purchase Memory Maker One Day for $59 so that you can get the unlimited downloads of all of your photos from the day. We have information on all of the planned special shots below!

Magic Kingdom Park:
Special Character Experiences:
- Dopey will be at the Town Square Courtyard
- Captain Hook will be in Fantasyland

- Cinderella’s Coach in Fantasyland
- “Tangled” light painting photo opportunity near Ariel’s Grotto (available after dark)
- Mickey Mouse Magic Shot on the bridge near Fairytale Garden
- Main Street Vehicle near the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor (available in the morning and early afternoon)
Epcot
Special Character Experiences:
- Genie will be in the Morocco Pavilion
- Mushu will be in the China Pavilion
Photo opportunities:
- Dream Big Princess photo backdrop near Epcot Character Spot (daylight hours only)
- Baymax Animated Magic Shot located near Mouse Gear and the Fountain of Nations
- Fisheye lens near the fountain close to the entrance to Spaceship Earth
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Special Character Experiences:
- The Evil Queen from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil will meet with guests at Sunset Showcase.
- This opportunity will be available from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

- Jungle Book Magic Shot near Yak & Yeti Restaurant
- In DinoLand U.S.A. from 9-10 p.m. you can have magical Mickey light effects added to your photos.
Disney Springs
Photo opportunities:
- Dream Big Princess photo backdrop next to the Marketplace Stage
- Fairy Wings Magic Shot from the PhotoPass photographer roaming around the Marketplace near Tren-D
- Available from 1-10:30 p.m.
