Walt Disney World to Close Sweet Spells Permanently

We have heard sad news for those of you out there who love to visit Sweet Spells during your Walt Disney World vacation.  The sweet treat spot, Sweet Spells, is located on Sunset Boulevard within Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  The location is set to permanently close from April 16th, 2018.  The location will be converted to become a Pixar store.  The new store is expected to be one of the main Pixar merchandise locations in the entire park.  It is currently expected to open on June 30th, 2018 when Toy Story Land finally makes its debut.

The onstage kitchen and candy-making area at the current Sweet Spells location will be completely removed.  Other locations will continue to sell packaged treats while quick service locations and the Trolley Car Cafe will have a variety of different sweet options that guests can check out.

The Reel Vogue location right next to Sweet Spells is expected to remain open during the refurbishment and conversion of Sweet Spells.  For those of you who enjoy the location, you should definitely definitely check it out while you still can before it is closed forever.
