Walt Disney World Closing Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House for Refurbishment

If you have an upcoming stay planned for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, then you may want to check out this latest information.  The Uzima Springs Pool and Uzima Springs Pool Bar located within Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House, will be closing later this year.  The closing is for a lengthy refurbishment to take place.  Currently the work is expected to being on September 4th, 2018.  This work is expected to continue through December 4th, 2018.  At this time, the Uzima Springs Pool and Uzima Springs Pool Bar are both expected to re-open to guests on December 5th, 2018.

Guests who are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House during this time would have access to use the Samawati Springs Pool and Maji Pool Bar, which are located at Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village.  The resort areas are connected together and you can get to them either via a walk back and forth or by taking on of the buses to the other location.

We don’t have details on what all work Disney is expecting to do during this refurbishment, but we are sure that guests will be anxious to see the pool back up and running again.
