We are getting closer and closer to the official opening of Disney’s Riviera Resort at Walt Disney World. Disney Parks Blog has now shared a look at the new Disney Cast Member costumes that will be worn by Cast Members who work at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Check it out below:

According to Disney Parks Blog, “Walt Disney Imagineering partnered with Costuming to create a fashion-forward collection that captures the essence of Disney’s Riviera Resort. The new costumes were revealed at a special cast member runway-style fashion show at the resort.”
“The costume designs were inspired by the landscapes, colors and art of the European Riviera. The designers also looked to Hollywood stars, artists and creators, including Walt Disney, who visited the Riviera and reflected their travels in their style.”
“Similar to the design of the resort, apparel pieces have a modern Riviera appeal, with classic and current nods. Ensembles are stylish and sophisticated and contemporary to today’s Mediterranean Riviera.”
We love the color palette that was used, including Mediterranean blues and whites and then adding other pops of color. It fits in perfectly with the vibe of the resort and the clean details.
Cast Members will have the option for customizable costume options, like a mix and match collection of pieces for certain resort areas. This allows the Cast Members to add a little more of their own style and differentiation from their fellow Cast Members.
Currently Disney’s Riviera Resort is set to officially open to guests starting on December 16th, 2019. Guests can make reservations online or by calling 407-939-7762.
