We previously announced the launch of the new Minnie Van service at Walt Disney World. This service allows guests to request transportation via a mobile app (like how Lyft and Uber also operate) to get picked up at a set location and dropped off at any location that they choose. When the service first launched, it was only available at select resorts around Walt Disney World. The Minnie Van service has been expanding to more and more resorts as the kinks get worked out and the service gets ramped up. We expect that it will soon be available at most resorts on property. We are now excited to learn that the service is now expanding to another resort, one of my personal favorites, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Guests are able to use the Minnie Van service for $20, and it will take them on a one-way trip to anywhere that they want to go at Walt Disney World. The service works by using the Lyft mobile app.
This is the list of resorts where you can use the Minnie Van service:
- Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Wilderness Lodge
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Wilderness Lodge
- Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Yacht & Beach Club
- Boardwalk Inn
- Grand Floridian
Guests seem to be responding well to the service, especially with all of the expansions to additional resorts. It will be interesting to see how many guests prefer this service to the various free transportation that is available around Walt Disney World.
What do you all think of the Minnie Van service so far? Where is your favorite place to use the service to go?
