We have great news! On Wednesday, May 27, Disney proposed the reopening of Walt Disney World beginning July 11 with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom and July 15 for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. The Orange County Economic Task Force approved the proposal at the meeting with Orange County Mayor, Jerry Demings. But…. Disney still needed the approval from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

Today, May 29, Major Demings tweeted that Walt Disney World has received official approval to reopen beginning July 11!

Since the proposed dates, Disney has made some drastic changes including the cancellation of all FastPasses, Extra Magic Hours, and Dining & Experience Reservations through 2020 in preparation for the new reservations system coming soon.
