Walt Disney World Hits Capacity December 30th and 31st

If you plan to spend today, December 30th, or tomorrow New Year’s Eve, at Walt Disney World, you hopefully have a Park Pass Reservation already. If you do not, you may be out of luck. Spots are completely filled for all four theme parks both today and tomorrow.

On the Walt Disney World website, you can see that both the 30th and 31st have a grey box, which means reservations are full. You are still required to have a Park Pass Reservation to get into any of the Four Theme parks. The only exception is the Water Parks, where you do not need a reservation.

The week between Christmas and New Years is one of the busiest times at the Parks, so this is not surprising. If you are looking for something to do on New Year’s Eve, there are other options. There are New Year’s Eve celebrations going on all around Central Florida.

Old Town is only a short drive down 192, and they are having a free celebration. If you want to go to SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa, they will also have a New Year’s Eve event. You can see more information about these below.

If you could grab a Park Pass Reservation for today you may want to stop at EPCOT. It is the final day of Festival of the Holidays. There are so many booths with delicious food and other entertainment around the Park.

If you are at the Parks, make sure to follow all the safety guidelines in place. With the Omicron variant running through Central Florida, face coverings are required indoors and for all transportation. Do your part to make sure that you, all Guests, and Cast Members stay as safe as possible.
