Walt Disney World debuted reusable shopping bags at locations throughout property in an effort to support conservation and reduction of plastic usage within the themed parks and shopping areas. We have learned that the prices have increased for these shopping bags. When they were first introduced they were prices at $1.00 for the small, $1.50 for the medium and $2.00 for the large bag. The prices are now $2.00 for the small, $2.50 for the medium and $3.00 for the large bag. This isn’t a large dollar amount but every little bit can add up.

The bags are available in three different sizes. They are made of 80% recycled materials, too. There were bags like these first introduced at World of Disney Stores and now they have rolled out around the different theme parks and other locations.
Here is a look at some of the reusable bag options:
At Disneyland Resort, there are find four different bags: one each for Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park, a bag for Downtown Disney District and Resort Hotels, and the current World of Disney bag.
At Walt Disney World Resort, there will be seven total bags available: a bag at each of the four theme parks; a bag for owned-and-operated shops at Disney Springs, a shared Walt Disney World Resort-inspired bag for Resort Hotels, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and other merchandise locations, and the existing World of Disney bag.
What do you all think of the price increase for the reusable bags?
