Walt Disney World Offering Festival of the Lion King Dining Packages

We learned about an exciting new offering coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!  There are two new Festival of the Lion King Signature Dining Packages that will be offered.  These packages will include a delicious meal at Tiffins Restaurant, plus VIP seating for the Festival of the Lion King show located within the Africa area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  The dining packages are Tier I and Tier II and both include either lunch or dinner at the location, featuring a three-course meal including one appetizer, one entree and one dessert plus your choice of wine, beer or a non-alcoholic beverage. We have a look at some of the amazing menu items below.

Kamo Ramen at Tiffins Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

This seasonally-inspired menu features unique dishes from around the world. Appetizers include items like: Avocado-and-Tomato Salad, Spiced Chickpea Falafel, and Charred Octopus. Entrees include items like: Kamo Ramen (duck confit, soft-poached egg, spiced coconut broth, alba mushrooms, and chili-lime cashew), Shrimp and Grits (with Gulf white shrimp, Anson Mills grits, applewood smoked bacon, heirloom tomatoes, and smoked pepper jam), Surf and Turf (with grilled local beef tenderloin, butter poached lobster tail, Yukon gold potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and Cape Mountain Whiskey butter), or Fort McCoy Beef Tenderloin (with char-crusted beef tenderloin, loaded crushed potato, seasonal vegetables, bacon-sherry vinaigrette, and crispy shallots).

Dessert is included and you will get to choose from: Guava Mousse, South American Ganache, or the Whipped Cheesecake (plus other items).

Not only do you get to enjoy the meal and VIP seating to Festival of the Lion King with the package, you also receive a commemorative cast photo.  If you opt for the Tier I package, you will also get to enjoy a safari tour through the African outback.  You will be escorted by a special guide to learn about the animals and their habitats.  Tier II includes everything that we have mentioned, except for the safari tour.

Tier I Pricing:  Adult tickets are $99 and children tickets are $49 (taxes and gratuities not included)

Tier II Pricing:  Adult tickets are $74 and children tickets are $29 (taxes and gratuities not included)

The dining packages are available for dates starting August 13th through November 21st, 2018. They can be booked starting on August 2nd by calling (407) WDW-DINE or checking out the Walt Disney World website.
