In honor of the live action version of Disney’s The Lion King debuting this summer, The Walt Disney Company is launching a global campaign to help the lions. The campaign will support the Lion Recovery Fund and partners that help conservation efforts across Africa and a goal to double the number of lions in the wild by 2050. There is a Special Edition Simba and Nala plush and for each one sold, Disney will donate US $5 to the Wildlife Conservation Network in order to support this effort. The Special Edition Simba and Nala plush are now available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World and can also be found at other additional locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland starting on July 1st, 2019.
