We have exciting news from Disney Parks Blog! We have now learned about new functionality within the My Disney Experience mobile app. The mobile app will now offer Online Check-In as one of the available features for guests to benefit from. This feature will allow guests to use Disney’s Online Check-In service right from the My Disney Experience app. They can complete the online check-in process and ensure that they are completely ready for their vacation when the time arrives. They will also receive a notification right on their phone when their room is ready so that they can completely avoid the front desk upon arrival to the resort.

Guests visiting Walt Disney World are eligible to complete the check-in process up to 60 days before their arrival for their vacation. If guests have their Magic Bands and everything linked to their My Disney Experience account, they can leverage the mobile app in order to completely skip the line and waiting at the front desk in order to access their room. The check-in is complete as soon as they unlock the room using one of the Magic Bands tied to the reservation. Magic Bands are sent to the guests in the mail a little before the guests leave for vacation so that they can have them with them and ready to use.
