Walt Disney World launched a transportation service that offers easier bus access located within the theme parks for guests that purchase the transportation add-on. Now we have learned that Disney will offer an add-on pass for Annual Passholders to receive the express transportation service over the summer. This new pass is officially known as the Express Transportation Summer Pass. The pass will be available only to Annual Passholders starting on June 5th. It will cost $59 per person, and will be eligible for use from June 5th through August 10th. This pass will be usable at all 4 theme parks to travel between parks.

This service is also available as an add-on to ticket purchases for other guests, but at a daily or multi-day rate. There currently isn’t a seasonal pass type of offer until this one. It will be interesting to see how popular it is and if other seasonal options will become available.
The pass must be purchases by July 31st, as after that date it will no longer be available. If you are an Annual Passholder and would find benefit in this service, then you definitely want to act quickly to get the most out of the pass. You will have to purchase the pass for every member of your party that you intend to use the transportation with you, so keep that in mind when considering the purchase.
