Walt Disney World Offers Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt at Disney Springs

Disney Springs is really going all out for the holidays with the new Christmas tree walk and evening light drone show.  There is also another new experience offered called Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt.  This is similar to other hunts that you may have done within the theme parks (like the Epcot Easter egg hunt).  You pick up the guidebook/map from participating locations.  Once you you have it, you use the map to start looking for the items at various locations based on the clues that are provided.  Once you have found the item, then you mark your completion with the stickers. The sticker will correspond with the item that you find Stitch holding somewhere in the location.

There are 12 total locations and gifts to find.  Once you have completed the entire hunt, then you can collect your gift from one of the redemption centers.  The redemption centers for the hunt are located at Once Upon A Toy, Super Hero Headquarters, World of Disney and the Disney Springs Welcome Center.  The gift that you receive is a special button.  It has Stitch on it and reads, “Holiday Gift Hunt.”  It’s a really cute button, and a great free souvenir!  The event is free and everyone in the family can play it so that they can earn their button.  This is a great way to keep the kiddos entertained while you are trying to browse the shops!

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
