Walt Disney World to Open Oakley Store at Disney Springs

There are more planned shopping changes for Disney Springs in Walt Disney World.  APEX, a store owned and operated by Sunglass Hut, has officially closed.  The store will be completely rebranded as an Oakley store in the exact same location.  The APEX store first opened in January of 2015.  It was one of the very first shopping location to open in the newly branded Disney Springs.  The store sold a variety of different high end sunglasses brands, including Oakley.  With this branding change, the store will sell exclusively Oakley products.

The new Oakley store is expected to re-open in this fall in 2017.  The store is located in The Landing area of Disney Springs.  It was originally expected to open in a location in the Town Center area of Disney Springs near where the new dining location, The Polite Pig, opened.  Time will tell how popular the Oakley location will be, but we expect it to likely be a popular shopping fixture in Disney Springs.
