BB-8 was scheduled to make an appearance on April 14th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the new scheduled event, Star Wars:  Galactic Nights.  Guests will be excited to know that BB-8 has made an appearance early, meeting and greeting with guests at Star Wars: Launch Bay.  The meet and greets aren’t official and are likely planned for Disney to work out some of the kinks and logistics associated with the new addition. BB-8 is also expected to still appear at the April 14th event, as well as start official scheduled meet and greets starting April 15th and beyond.

Even better is that BB-8 won’t be replacing Kylo Ren or Chewbacca at Star Wars: Launch Bay.  The droid will be there in addition to both of the existing meet and greets. BB-8 will take over the spot where the Disney Infinity video games were showcased, previously, in the area.  This is an extremely exciting meet and greet for guests and is expected to be extremely popular.  Be sure to check the Times Guide for meet times and plan to arrive early to help minimize the amount of time you have to wait in line.
