Disney Parks Blogs released a sneak peek at some of the newest MagicBand designs to be released at Walt Disney World this January. The MagicBand 2 allows guests to leave their account tied to one MagicBand (or more) and then change out the center portion of the band with any other band, which makes it even easier for guests to trade to different bands designs. For guests that don’t like wearing a band on their wrist, they can also try out one of the MagicKeepers instead!

The I Am Mickey MagicBand (main article picture) is completely themed after Mickey Mouse with a black MagicBand, yellow center and red Mickey pants. This is the first pre-customized MagicBand and it will cost $22.99 at merchandise locations around Walt Disney World.
One of the other new MagicBand options is an Aladdin and Jasmine themed Limited Edition Magic Band. There are only 2,400 total in the edition. It is sold for $32.99.
Another limited release MagicBand will be released on January 15th. This one is another attraction themed band, themed after Expedition Everest located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. That band has a red base with imaged from the attraction on the band. It will cost $27.99.
For the first time ever, we will have a MagicBand with Pongo and Perdita from 101 Dalamations. 101 Dalmations was released in 1961 and this band is a celebration of the anniversary. The band has a white base and includes images of the characters on one side and paw prints on the other. The band will be available starting on January 26th and will sell for $22.99.
For guests that love the MagicKeepers, there will be new colors for guests to enjoy. The new colors will be blue, pink and purple. The MagicKeepers work just like the MagicBand, but you don’t have to wear it on your wrist and can clip it to your bag, belt loop, etc.
What do you all think of these new MagicBands and MagicKeepers? Which one is your favorite?
