Walt Disney World Replaces Original Sign for MuppetVision 3D

MuppetVision 3D first opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World in 1991.  It has had the same signage out front ever since it first opened, too.  Guests found the sign missing earlier this week with no marquee for the attraction for a period of time, until the new sign was put in place.  We have a guest photo of the sign below courtesy of WDW Info below:

This new sign gives a name to the theater, which previously didn’t have a dedicated name.  The new name for the theater is now the Grand Arts theater.

MuppetVision 3D has been in a need of a refurbishment for a long time, so maybe this is a sign that Disney plans to revamp the attraction and give it a little bit of love.  The show rarely has a wait, and it would be great if Disney would look at changing out the show and giving the attraction something new for guests to enjoy.
