For all of you golfers out there, you will definitely want to check out this latest update from Disney Parks Blog. The golf courses will be updated to enhance the experiences that guests have at Disney Golf. We have some of the info on what guests can expect to see change around the golf courses. The bunkers at the Magnolia Course were updated in 2015 and now the Lake Buena Vista, Palm and Oak Trail golf courses will all receive similar updates as well. There will be Mickey-shaped bunkers added to the Lake Buena Vista and Oak Trail courses. The Palm course is also receiving improved drainage capabilities at the course and is expected to officially re-open on June 18th.

If that wasn’t enough, the Lake Buena Vista golf course will also receive updated beautiful white sand along with the new bunkers. The developments at Lake Buena Vista are expected to begin around June 18th. Oak Trail will get a total resurfaced with paspalum grass, which is a first for Disney Golf. The developments at Oak Trail are expected to begin around June 25th. Both courses are expected to be finished with all updates by mid-August.
During the development, there will be discounted rates offered at the Lake Buena Vista and Oak Trail courses. The regular rates will be offered at the Magnolia and Palm courses. You can check out additional updates and developments at the golf courses on the Disney Golf Facebook page at @WDWGolf.
