Walt Disney World to Open New Entrance for Autos at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 8

There is a new entrance for vehicles at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that is set to open on November 8th, 2018.  This new entrance will change up where guests arrive and proceed to park when visiting the theme park.  This is all part of the enhancements that are coming to the entire park for 2019 for the theme park’s 30th anniversary.

The map image helps to explain the changes and how vehicle traffic will be handled.  Beginning on November 8th, guests visiting the park will use the new entrance, which is located off of Osceola Parkway.  The current entrance, which is off of World Drive and Osceola Parkway, will now only be used for Disney cast members.  The other entrance on Buena Vista Drive will only be used for bus traffic. There will also be a connecting road leading to the theme park for vehicles that are coming from southbound Victory Way.  There will be updated roadway signs to help navigate guests throughout Walt Disney World Resort and then through Disney’s Hollywood Studios parking lot.

We will keep you posted as we learn about more of these changes happening around Walt Disney World.  There are a variety of new attractions and changes coming over the next couple years, so there will be a lot of happenings.
