Disney Parks Blog made an extremely exciting announcement today for all of the Star Wars fans out there. We have now learned that there will be a new hyper-reality experience called Star Wars: Secrets of the empire. The experience will be opening at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World (as well as at Downtown Disney at Disneyland in California). This exciting new experience is expected to be open for the holiday season. Guests will be able to feel like they are completely immersed in the Star Wars universe through most of the senses, including sight, sound, touch, smell and motion. It is considered a merger between the physical and digital worlds.

THE VOID is responsible for this new experience, unlike anything we’ve seen at Walt Disney World before. THE VOID is an entertainment company that leverages advanced technology to create immersive experiences. Through the partnership with Disney, they will be bringing this exciting experience to guests visiting the property and introduce them to the Star Wars universe in a way that they have never been able to see it before.
There isn’t a ton of information released yet, but we will definitely update as soon as we learn more.
