Walt Disney World’s Ample Hills Creamery Offering Three New Themed Flavors

Ample Hills Creamery is a delicious ice cream spot found within Disney’s BoardWalk at Walt Disney World.  The location offers a variety of different flavors and we have learned that in honor of Mickey Mouse’s 90th anniversary there will be three more themed flavors added.  These are birthday cake flavors of ice cream and are super fun additions to the line-up!  These new flavor offerings include:  Triple Chocolate Surprise, Confetti Celebration and Peanut Butter Jamboree.  Each of them have their own touch of a combination of Mickey Mouse and birthday cake, too!  We have a look at what is included in each of the flavors below.

Triple Chocolate Surprise:  This flavor is made with a chocolate malted ice cream that has chocolate fudge cake, dark chocolate buttercream frosting and chocolate Mickey pieces that are filled with fudge swirled throughout.

Confetti Celebration:  This flavor is made with sweet cream ice cream that has confetti cake, yellow buttercream frosting and white chocolate Mickey pieces that are filled with lemon cream swirled throughout.

Peanut Butter Jamboree:  This flavor is made with vanilla bean ice cream that has strawberry cake, peanut butter frosting and peanut butter Mickey pieces that are filled with strawberry jam swirled throughout.

These new flavors are expected to be at Ample Hills Creamery at some point in September, so be sure to keep a look out for them!  You can always pick the Ice Cream Flight when you are there and try 6 different flavors at once!   If you won’t be visiting the parks and still want to try to the ice cream, you can pre-order this new Mickey collection and have it shipped to you.  This way you will get all three pints to sample and try at home!  You can click here for the information regarding the pre-order.

Which of these flavors are you most excited about trying?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
