Walt Disney World’s Caribbean Beach Resort Offering Quick Service Buffet

With all of the construction and changes going on at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney has been trying to sweeten the deal to make up for some of the inconvenience.  They started out by offering $75 gift cards for each night of their stay, but has since discontinued that offer. One of the newest offerings exclusive to the resort is a buffet, “Centertown Buffet”, which will only count as one quick service credit on the Disney Dining plan.  While this isn’t exactly the same level of benefit as getting $75 in Disney gift cards for each night, it is definitely a nice addition to the resort.

The buffet is located in a tent that is temperature controlled.  The location will serve breakfast and dinner.  The cuisine will be Caribbean-themed dishes, which are sure to be absolutely delicious.  The meal will be “all you care to enjoy”, which means that guests can enjoy as much as they want.  There will be seating inside the tent to enjoy the meal and a lot of great options to choose from.

If you aren’t on the Disney Dining plan the costs associated with the meal are actually quite low compared to other buffets on property.  Here is the pricing info:

  • Breakfast:
    • Adults:  $13.99
    • Children (ages 3 to 9):  $7.99
    • Children (2 and under):  Free
  • Dinner:
    • Adults:  $20.99
    • Children (ages 3 to 9):  $11.99
    • Children (2 and under):  Free

The meal is only available to guests staying at Caribbean Beach Resort.  The cast members at the entrance to the tent will scan your Magic Band to confirm that you are actually staying at the resort in order to enter and enjoy the meal.

Does anyone have a stay planned for Caribbean Beach?  Who plans to check out this new buffet?

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
