Walt Disney World’s First International Festival of the Arts Opens Today at Epcot

We previously announced details about Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts and the various entertainment lineup. It has all been building up to today, when the event finally opens for the very first time.  This is the first year for this event, and based on how popular the other festivals have been over the years, we expect it is very likely that this one will stick around, too.  There will be performances from Broadway performers, art on display, various culinary demonstrations and more.  There will also be commemorative merchandise available for purchase at the event, too.

Be sure to check out all of the limited food selections available around the park.  There will be limited time dishes and food kiosks throughout the park with samplings that focus on all of the arts.  There are also other event experiences that are available for an additional purchase that allow you to do things like make pottery, paint, cook, etc.  There is so much to do at the event, that you won’t want to miss it.  Be sure to tell us here what you think of the event!
