Mousekeeping is the name that has been given to Disney’s housekeeping service at the Walt Disney World Resorts. There are many guests that feel as if these services haven’t been as impressive in the last few years as they used to be. Disney is taking note to the various complaints and will be making changes to restore the quality of the service in the coming months.

The changes include hiring additional housekeeping staff, including additional managers at each of the resorts. We have reported previously about the new custodial system that will be put in place for custodial staff in the parks, and we expect this dispatch system will likely be used at the resorts to ensure rooms that need attention are handled quickly and efficiently. There are also talks of Disney bringing in a 3rd party vendor to train cast members and improve processes and efficiency while still ensuring that the rooms receive impeccable care.
Please share with us your thoughts on these changes, and issues that you may have had in recent trips!
