The food lines can get extremely long at any of Disney’s value resorts, particularly the All Star Resorts (Movies, Music and Sports). The pizza window at Disney’s All Star Music Resort gets backed up for a long time, and it looks like Walt Disney World has found a way to make that experience much better. There is now a pre-order window that has been set up at the Intermission Food Court at the resort.

The original pizza window has been closed and guests will find a sign that explains the pre-order process for guests to follow to order pizza. Here is the information that the sign reads:
- Grab your Beverages and Sides from the Market and Bakery Areas.
- Take your items to the Register to order your entrees.
- Place your Order and receive a Pager.
- Once paged, pick up your order at the pick up window.
- Enjoy your Meal!
The pager that guests receive will flash once the order is ready and they will be able to pick up their pizza right from the window. This will help a lot to keep guests from waiting in long lines and help to streamline the service for everyone. The pre-order window doesn’t just offer pizza either. It also offers breakfast burgers, Mickey Waffles and other breakfast items when visiting the food court in the morning. Guests are reporting that the wait times for their food have been minimal, so it seems to have been a much needed improvement. We expect that we will start to see the same windows added to the other value resorts to streamline the operations there, too.
What do you think of this new ordering process at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort?
