Disney Parks Blog announced today that one of the amazing restaurants at Walt Disney World received two prestigious awards. Victoria & Albert’s is known as one of the prestigious culinary experiences that guests can encounter while at Walt Disney World. For the 18th year in a row, the restaurant has earned the AAA Five Diamond Award. Only 68 restaurants in North America have earned the Five Diamond award. For the first time, the restaurant has also been awarded the 2108 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award. There are only 64 of these restaurants in North America. Victoria & Albert’s is the only restaurant in Florida to receive both of the awards.

Restaurants receive these awards based on a combination of different factors. The restaurants are ranked on items like food, service, decor and ambiance. Victoria & Albert’s brings Victorian elegance to a fine dining experience. There are three different dining experiences which include the main dining room with a 7-course menu or a 10-course Chef’s Tasting menu, the Queen Victoria’s Room with a 10-course Chef’s Tasting menu with tableside presentation or the 8 seat Chef’s Table in the restaurants kitchen, which is the most prestigious dining experience of them all. The restaurant also boasts a wine cellar with over 700 different wines.
The General Manager for Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort & Spa, Cosmo Kapoor, had this to say, “This has been a monumental year for the entire Victoria & Albert’s Team. They have developed a culture of success, which is over twenty years in the making. Every single member of the team is fully invested, combining the perfect formula of creativity, knowledge and passion for service. Our focus remains: Aim for perfection and settle for nothing less than excellence.”
We wish a huge congratulations to Executive Chef Scott Hunnel, Chef de Cuisine Aimée Rivera, Master Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek, Maître d’Hôtel Israel Pérez and the entire Victoria & Albert’s team, as these awards are well deserved!
