Yesterday we attended Disney Very Merriest After Hours. If you want to see the overview, you can here or a rundown of the food and merchandise available here. Now we’re going to break it down a little bit more. One thing that many Guests missed at Walt Disney World was character opportunities. Although it doesn’t look like it did before the COVID-19 pandemic, it has returned slightly different. You are now able to do socially distance character sightings. The way that it looks is the characters stay far back, and you were able to take either a selfie or have someone you were with take a photo with you and the character in the background.

There are many characters that you can see at Disney Very Merriest After Hours. Over in front of The Crystal Palace, You can see your favorite characters from Winnie the Pooh. Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger are all interacting with Guests in their holiday attire. Also, Mickey is available at Town Square Theater. Although he is not in his Christmas outfit, you could still take a selfie with him. He is wearing his 50th Anniversary outfit, though. Since Mickey is indoors, masks will be required for those photos.

These may not be photo opportunities with you in them, but you will not want to miss Mickey’s Once Upon a Time Christmastime Parade if you want to see some characters. You will see many of the classics like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and more. The Princesses make their way down the road, and Santa wraps up the entire parade. There are talented dancers and other lovable characters that you will see.
