Today November 26th, was the first day of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This event runs through December 30th, 2021. There are so many reasons that you should attend the event this year; there is something for everyone in your party.
If you like scavenger hunts or are a fan of Frozen, you will want to participate in Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt. It will cost $9.99 for the map but includes stickers. Just like before, once you have completed your map, you can redeem a prize.
For those who have a sweet tooth, you will want to take part in the Holiday Cookie Stroll. There are five different cookies at the Holiday Kitchens, and make sure you grab a festival passport. Once you have all five cookies stamped, you get the six cookie for free. For those who may have a dairy allergy or are vegan, there is a cookie option for you.
There is lots of entertainment around World Showcase for kids. The American Adventure Pavilion has a social distanced meet and greet with Santa Claus, although there are still many one-on-one interactions with the kids. There are holiday stories around World Showcase in Norway, Japan, and Italy.
One thing that the entire family won’t want to miss is JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season. This is a high-energy show that the whole family can enjoy.
A holiday tradition is the Candlelight Processional, and we are so thankful it has returned this year. This might be a hard one for children to sit through, so use your discretion if your little ones can sit through the entire show and not bother others around you.
This is just a small taste of what you can see and do at the Festival of the Holidays. You have a little over a month to enjoy all that it has to offer.
