You may think that the theme parks are the only exciting attractions to enjoy at Walt Disney World, but there are so many other great things to do at Walt Disney World than to just hit the theme parks. There are also 2 fantastic miniature golf locations on property that are each uniquely and perfectly themed. Winter Summerland, where the courses are Christmas themed with a beach and snow side, is the favorite for my family, but sadly it is now officially closed for a refurbishment. The refurbishment will be ongoing from October 9th, 2017 through November 10th, 2017. The course is expected to officially re-open to guests starting on November 11th, 2017.

Don’t worry though, you will still have another miniature golf course on property that you can visit. Disney’s Fantasia Gardens & Miniature Golf will remain open daily for the entire duration of the refurbishment, weather permitting. The Fantasia Gardens courses are themed after the classic Disney film, Fantasia.
The courses are typically open into the evening hours, making it a great place to enjoy any time of the day. Each of the locations have two different sets of 18 hole courses with various obstacles that match the theme of the area. The admission price is only for one of the sets of 18 holes, but you can enjoy the second for half price if you do the first. DVC Members, Annual Passholders and others receive a discount on admission to check it out, too!
