Marvel Studios released new information regarding the casting for the upcoming “Captain Marvel 2”. They are reporting that Zawe Ashton will be playing the main villain in the upcoming film.

“Captain Marvel 2” will see Brie Larson return in the title role and it will also see the Iman Vellani join the movie as Ms Marvel, who will be introduced in her own Disney+ series later this year.  WandaVision’s Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris, will also be starring in the series.

“Captain Marvel 2” will be coming to cinemas on November 11th, 2022, is directed by Nia DaCosta. She has previously directed the latest “Candyman” film.

Brie Larson stars as Carol Danvers, alongside Iman Vellani, who makes her debut in “Ms. Marvel,” and Teyonah Parris, who portrays grown-up Monica Rambeau—a character introduced as a child in “Captain Marvel” who returns to the MCU as an adult in “WandaVision.”
