8 Experiences You Might Not Have Tried Around Epcot’s Future World

Many guests who visit Walt Disney World are familiar with Epcot as the park is filled with wonderful attractions, entertainment, dining, and shopping to enjoy. Guests who spend time in Epcot can explore both Future World and World Showcase which each feature a different focus including technology, nature, and world culture. There are plenty of amazing experiences in Future World to enjoy in like Soarin’, Test Track Presented by Chevrolet, and Spaceship Earth. While those popular experiences never tend to be overlooked by guests, there are plenty of other experiences in Epcot’s Future World which can be considered underrated and may be skipped by guests. These underrated experiences are all amazing and definitely should not be missed. Here are eight experiences which guests may not have tried in Epcot’s World Showcase.

8. Club Cool

While many guests enjoy wandering through Epcot’s Future World, there is one location which they may pass right by in order to get to World Showcase. Club Cool is a refreshment area sponsored by Coca Cola where guests can enjoy some air conditioning and free beverages. The highlight of Club Cool is a free refreshment area where guests can sample beverages from countries around the world including Italy, South Africa, Greece, and Peru. Club Cool is a great way to chill out for a few minutes and try some unique and delicious beverages.

7. Living with the Land

Found in The Land Pavilion is a wonderful attraction which teaches guests about the resilience, versatility, and beauty of the land. Living with the Land is a gentle boat tour which showcases how the land can thrive in all sorts of environments. Guests then can enjoy floating through beautiful greenhouses which are bursting with all sorts of plants, vegetables, and fruits which are often served in restaurants throughout Walt Disney World. Living with the Land is a great attraction to enjoy in Epcot’s Future World that is both educational and entertaining.

6. Turtle Talk with Crush

The Seas with Nemo and Friends is a beautiful pavilion which features an attraction of the same name and massive aquarium habitats. While guests enjoy wandering through the pavilion, they often overlook the attraction Turtle Talk with Crush. This interactive experience brings guests into a small theater where Crush appears and directly talks to them. Guests can enjoy asking Crush questions, listening to his jokes, and learning about the ocean world where he lives.

5. Fountain of Nations

Located behind Spaceship Earth in a massive plaza is the beautiful Fountain of Nations. While many guests notice the fountain on the way to World Showcase, few stop to enjoy the true beauty of it. The Fountain of Nations features a show which runs several times per hour that combines a beautiful score with dancing water. While the show is wonderful during the day, it takes on a whole new beauty at night when wonderful lighting transforms the experience. Guests should definitely plan on enjoying the show at the Fountain of Nations in Future World.

4. Journey into Imagination with Figment

A whimsical attraction which often tends to be overlooked by guests in Future World is Journey into Imagination with Figment. The attraction brings guests into the Imagination Institute for a tour through the sensory labs hosted by Dr. Nigel Channing. Figment the dragon soon takes over the tour causing all sorts of mayhem and entertainment while showcasing to guests that imagination works best when set free. With plenty of whimsy, humor, and fun moments, Journey into Imagination with Figment should not be missed!

3. Project Tomorrow

No guest visits Epcot’s Future World without enjoying a ride on Spaceship Earth, but many miss out on a wonderful experience waiting at the end of the attraction. After disembarking from the Time Machines, guests enter into Project Tomorrow before exiting back into Future World. Instead of heading straight for the exit, guests should spend some time wandering through the post show area where they can send postcards of their future selves to friends and family, conduct 3D surgeries, learn how to manage power and energy, and learn about safe driving. With wonderful activities and experiences to enjoy, Project Tomorrow should not be skipped after enjoying Spaceship Earth.

2. The Garden Grill

Another great experience that guests might not have experienced in The Land Pavilion is a full service restaurant. The Garden Grill is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and serves up fresh and sustainable foods often grown right there in The Land in family style servings. Guests who visit The Garden Grill restaurant can also meet favorite characters like Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto while gently rotating to enjoy different scenes of Living with the Land below.

1. Coral Reef Restaurant

Guests who are fans of seafood also should check out the Coral Reef Restaurant located in The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion. The Coral Reef Restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and serves up delicious options that guests can enjoy while gazing into a massive aquarium filled with sharks, turtles, fish, sting rays, and more. With amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere, guests are sure to love dining at the Coral Reef Restaurant in Epcot’s Future World!
