Planet Hollywood Observatory is an amazing dining location within Walt Disney World. If you haven’t been before then you definitely have to add this one to your list. Here are 10 things that you’ll love about Planet Hollywood Observatory:

10. The fun, glitzy theme of the restaurant.
At Planet Hollywood, you feel like you get to dine among the stars. The restaurant is filled with amazing memorabilia and other Hollywood artifacts that perfectly fit the theme of the location. There is also a 4,500 square foot video wall that features a state-of-the-art sound and media to show movie clips and other fun while guests dine.
9. You can frequently get last minute reservations.
The restaurant is popular and a great place to dine, but it is one of the locations where you can frequently find last minute dining locations. There are some restaurants at Walt Disney World that are almost impossible to get into at times, but you can typically find a time to get into Planet Hollywood, making it a great last minute option for guests.
8. It is conveniently located within Disney Springs.
Planet Hollywood is technically located within the Town Center area of Disney Springs. It is also very close to the West Side area and right by the Orange Parking Garage. This puts the restaurant in a great spot for guests who want easy access to a dining location as well as some of the other shopping and entertainment in Disney Springs.

7. The menu was created by celebrity chef, Guy Fieri.
Many of you probably know who Guy Fieri is, especially with his boisterous personality. He is an awesome celebrity chef, who took part in creating the menu for Planet Hollywood Observatory when it went through its big remodel. He did a great job with the menu, as it is amazing. There are so many delicious options that you will definitely want to come back again so that you can try more.
6. The alcoholic beverages are delicious.
Sometimes while at Walt Disney World it is nice to kick back and enjoy an alcoholic beverage after a long day in the parks. Planet Hollywood is home to quite a few delicious options. One of my favorites is the It’s Showtime Mojito. It is made with Bacardi Superior rum, fresh lime juice and Reàl blueberry syrup with fresh blueberries and mint. It is so refreshing after a hot summer day! There are other great options, too, plus beer and wine selections.
5. There are shopping opportunities for great souvenirs.
There is a great gift shop at Planet Hollywood where you can buy themed and branded merchandise to commemorate your experience. All of you shoppers out there will have fun browsing the merchandise and making the perfect selections to remember your visit for the years to come.
4. The SuperNova Shake, and other tasty dessert options.
I don’t typically eat desserts when dining out, but I make an exception when at Walt Disney World. There are so many great dessert options to be had, and a few of them are at Planet Hollywood. One of my favorites is the Planet Meltdown, which is a chocolate sphere melted tableside by hot chocolate sauce to reveal double chocolate fudge cake, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. It is worth the calories, especially since you probably did a bunch of walking anyway.
3. The food is amazing!
This is true about many of the restaurants at Walt Disney World, but still definitely the case at Planet Hollywood. There is a wide variety of options from sandwiches and burgers to salads, steaks and ribs. There is definitely something for everyone and it is all delicious. We like to get the NY Strip Steak when we are having a date night. The steak serves two and is a 20 oz. USDA Choice bone-in NY strip served with classic herb butter, hand-cut steak fries and green bean blend. We love everything that we have tried.
2. The restaurants features amazing service.
We have always had amazing service when visiting this dining location. The servers are fun and lively, while providing us with everything that we need. They are a huge part of the experience and make Planet Hollywood and even more amazing place to dine!
1. The restaurant still keep the same charm after the remodel.
The restaurant went through a major remodel a couple years ago with a little bit of branding and menu changes. Even through all of that, the restaurant still has a little bit of familiar charm. There is still Hollywood artifacts and memorabilia like before, and there is still a vibe of the Hollywood glitz and glamour. It is amazing how the restaurant can be revamped and still maintain that charm.
