5 Best Table Service Restaurants in Epcot’s World Showcase

With 11 different countries to choose from in Epcot’s World Showcase, it can be extremely difficult to make dining selections. I don’t know if this list will help make it much easier to make your selections, but maybe it will help a little. I know it will succeed with whetting your appetite, so proceed with caution! Here are what I consider to be the best table service restaurants in Epcot’s World Showcase:

5. Biergarten, Germany

It must be my German heritage, but I can’t resist a great German restaurant! This restaurant may not be the restaurant to choose for an intimate date night, but definitely a top pick for a tasty meal with a really boisterous and fun atmosphere. You will sit at long tables with others as you enjoy the band and energy of this lively restaurant. With bratwurst, schnitzel and strudel (oh my!) you won’t leave hungry. The meal is buffet style so don’t be afraid to try a little bit of everything to get the full cultural experience. Order yourself a cold German beer to top off the meal. There is definitely something for everyone at his location and it’s an experience for the whole family.

4. Rose & Crown, United Kingdom

If you want the best fish and chips in Walt Disney World, then head over to the UK pavilion! We can’t get enough of the fish and chips at this location, or the inviting atmosphere. You could dine outside with waterfront views or inside at the elegant pub-like seating. Both areas offer a great dining experience. The menu of other delicious traditional favorites, such and Bangers and Mash or Shepherd’s Pie. My family is in love with the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert, and always try to save room to fit it in! We are huge fans of British beers, so this is one of our favorite hangouts when we don’t have the kids!

3. Via Napoli, Italy

Is pizza your thing? Make Via Napoli one of your stops! This is an award-winning restaurant with amazing pizza (and other delicious menu items). Enjoy pizzas that are sized for the whole family while you feel like you are being transported to the heart of Italy. The restaurant is beautiful and amazing smells come from the pizzas cooking in the wood-burning ovens. Pair your meal with fresh Sangria or a bottle of Italian wine. Don’t forget to save a little room to have the Tiramisu to top off a delicious Italian meal. This is another family-friendly restaurant that will have you wanting to come back time and time again!

2. Teppan Edo, Japan

If you’ve never enjoyed hibachi-style dining, you are missing out! This restaurant will give you the opportunity to rectify that! If you have had this experience, you still need to check this place out, as it is the best! This is one of my family’s favorite restaurants on Disney property because of the consistency with the quality, service and the experience. Every time we dine there we receive impeccable service and the chefs are delightful. If you like sushi, there are sushi options available. For the entree, you select your meat or meat combination (or veggies) of choice, sit back and enjoy the show. The entree includes Japanese noodles and vegetables, prepared right in front of you. The entree selections are prepared and the server brings rice to the table. If you can find a way to save room for dessert, try the Green Tea Cheesecake or the Ginger Cake. I was skeptical of both until we tried them and both are delicious. If you plan to participate in adult fun, have a Tokyo Sunset! It’s one of our favorite drinks in all of Disney World. This restaurant definitely gets two thumbs up from everyone in the family!

1. Le Cellier, Canada

OK, so you want an amazing steak in an amazing atmosphere, plus one of the best dining experiences on all of Disney property? Then make your reservation early for this Disney Signature Dining experience. This one will cost you 2 credits if you are on the dining plan, but believe me when I tell you that it is worth it. This Canadian-inspired restaurant is set in a dining room made to resemble famous rustic wine cellars in Canada. Start your meal with the Cheddar Cheese Soup. It might not sound like much, but it is absolutely fabulous. The Dry-Aged Boneless Rib Eye is my favorite steak choice, with the loaded mashed potatoes. (Don’t try to add up the calories!) I try as hard as I can to save room for the Smoking Chocolate Mousse. It is one of my favorite desserts on property! Pair this delicious meal with a fine Canadian wine, you are in a wine cellar after all! This location is pricey, but worth it. Maybe visit here for a special occasion or a special date night and prepare for delighted taste buds!

Well now that I have cruelly described all of this wonderful food and cuisine, it looks like you are going to have to get your next trips on the books. I don’t think making your dining selections will be much easier with all of these delicious restaurants available to you, but hopefully whatever you choose won’t disappoint! Save a spot for me!

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
