Steak lovers heading to Walt Disney World Resort will not want to miss this not-so-hidden steak spot. A visit to EPCOT’s World Showcase will introduce one of the best Disney World dining spots for Guests looking to indulge in a juicy steak and experience new Canadian cuisine. Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion is often mentioned as one of the best spots to get a steak during a Disney vacation. So in that sense, it certainly is not a Disney Park secret. That said, the tucked-away location of this restaurant does mean that it is physically hidden from view.

If you want to experience this Disney dining spot on your next vacation, make an advanced dining reservation as soon as your booking window opens. As always, you need a valid theme Park ticket and Park reservation for the day you are dining at Le Cellier, so plan accordingly. Le Cellier is tucked away from view among the rocks of the Canada Pavilion so you might miss it at first glance. When you’ve checked in and entered this restauraunt you’ll love the cozy wood trimmed dining room that creates a relaxing backdrop for dinner.

Le Cellier is open for lunch and dinner each day. Lunch is served from 12:00 p.m. to 3:55 p.m., and dinner is served daily from  4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Le Cellier is a more premium table service dining experience with higher priced options making it a signature dining spot. Because of the delicious food, my family tends to use this spot as a restaurant splurge, so we always save Le Cellier for a dinner reservation. That said, you may find a lunch reservation easier to land.

The great thing about this spot is that while Le Cellier is famous for steak, they do so many dishes well. One of the most iconic dishes from this menu is the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup. If you are wondering just how popular this starter is- just know that copycat recipes for this smooth and flavorful soup are circulating online and that it routinely makes an appearance on EPCOT festival menus. The Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup is a must-order if you visit Le Cellier and rings in at only $13 for this delicious starter. The soup is made with Canadian Moosehead Pale Ale and garnished with Nueske’s Applewood-smoked Bacon.

The Slow-Roasted Pork Belly is an excellent choice if you want an appetizer to go with your soup. Juicy pork belly is cooked with an Anise-White Bean Purée covered with an orange glaze and served with an arugula-fennel salad with fresh citrus.

When it’s time for entrees you’ll have a tough time choosing what to order. I love the Prime Ribeye Steak, which is served with herbed gruyère-Yukon gold potatoes, onion-cognac gravy, and crispy onions. The flavor depth of this dish is incredible, and the perfectly cooked steaks on this menu do not disappoint. If you want a New York Strip Steak, you can enjoy a prime cut cooked to perfection and served with Canadian cheddar-pretzel bread pudding, garlic-peppercorn butter, arugula lettuce, and sweet caramelized onions.

If you want to get outside your comfort zone, try the Bison Strip Loin served with Kabocha Squash, roasted cauliflower, Jerusalem Artichoke, and black garlic-sage béarnaise. Obviously, this menu specializes in beef, but there is a delicious pork chop option. This Dry-Aged Pork Chop is served with a fluffy goat cheese polenta, smoked tomato jam, citrus butter, and pea tendrils.

If you are in the market for a filet, you should try the Le Cellier filet mignon. This AAA Canadian Tenderloin is served with a mushroom risotto that has become another menu classic. Sides of asparagus-tomato relish and a garnish of decadent truffle-butter sauce make this dish an indulgent entree that might be the best meal on your Disney World vacation!

The menu also has meatless options and pescatarian options available. You may also want to check out the accompaniments menu to enhance your meal with sides like Maple-Whisky Glazed Brussel Sprouts, Bacon-Smoked Gouda Macaroni & Cheese, or Loaded Boursin® Mashed Potatoes.

The Poutine menu is another area you should check out. After all, who doesn’t love crispy fries topped with savory brown gravy and cheese curds? Choose from Le Cellier Signature Poutine or the Le Cellier Beef Bourguignon Poutine.

When it comes time for dessert, choose from the Maple Crème Brûlée, Chocolate Caramel Bar, Warm Pecan-Brown Butter Tart, or the Chocolate Mousse “Maple Leaf.” Le Cellier Steakhouse has a surprisingly good dessert menu. These are some of my top picks from the menu, but there are even more options to enjoy. If you are traveling with a larger group, order multiple desserts to share!

About Katie Chapman

Hey There! I am a Georgia native with a passion for writing, traveling, cooking, decorating, pugs and of course all things Disney. Growing up in South Georgia just a few hours from Walt Disney World made for a magical childhood. Some of my best memories were made on Main Street U.S.A. with my sister watching SpectroMagic nighttime parade or beside my grandparents, parents and extended family at Chef Mickey’s celebrating on a family vacation. Epcot was my favorite park from a young age and I credit it with my interest in and love for international travel. As a kid I loved meeting characters and watching films around World Showcase and could spend hours exploring each of the countries in Epcot. These days, my husband and I get away to explore a new country whenever we can and even incorporate trips to The Disney Store and Disney Parks around the world in our travels. One of our travel goals is to visit every Disney Park in the world. I love writing about Disney restaurants, park tips, Disney outfit inspiration and Disney history. Pocahontas is my favorite Disney Princess (90s kid here!) but Mr. Toad is my spirit animal. When I’m not at Disney I’m reading about park history, watching Disney documentaries and shopping vintage Disney merch for park outfits. I never pass up a reservation to Ohana, an empty seat on Living with the Land or a Violet Sake.
