6. The highly coveted early morning reservations

You may have heard Disney fans talk about their excitement when they snag an early breakfast dining reservation at Crystal Palace. This is one of the most desired breakfast times for the restaurants. Why, do you ask? Despite Magic Kingdom’s Main Street U.S.A. opening early to allow guests to shop and grab a coffee, most aren’t able to enjoy an amazing full breakfast before the park official opens. Let’s say the park opens at 9am, an 8:05 reservation is the perfect time to enjoy your meal then join the crowds on Main Street U.S.A. prior to park opening. Totally worth getting up early for!

5. The beautiful atmosphere

The restaurant is one of the most beautiful on property. There are so many windows and glass in a fresh, bright Victorian theme. I don’t know which is more breathtaking, the outside or the inside. Both are amazing and it’s easy to get lost in the details. You will find beautiful topiaries and lush greenery inside that add to the bright atmosphere and all of the glass and windows in the restaurant.

4. Character interactions

The restaurant is a character dining location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will find the characters from Winnie the Pooh there, including Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger. They work their way from table to table interacting with guests, signing autographs and posing for pictures. They dance to various songs and invite children to join them in dancing around the restaurant. It is a lot of exciting fun for all ages and creates amazing memories with your loved ones and beloved characters.

3. The amazing views

This restaurant is nestled between Main Street USA and the entrance to Adventureland, just down from Casey’s Corner. The windows to the restaurant face Cinderella Castle. If you can snag a window seat, or a spot close to the windows you get to enjoy your meal watching the castle and happenings in the hub area. As they say, “location, location, location,” and this restaurant definitely has it on many different levels.

2. The delicious food and diverse options

No matter which meal you choose, breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is delicious and has many options to suit everyone’s tastes. At each meal there is also a station where you can get either fresh omelettes or fresh carved meats with sauces that complement them. There are so many different options, including salads, fruits, etc. so that you can stay healthy and keep your diet in check! It is really nice when you can try a sampling of everything instead of committing yourself to one menu item. Don’t forget that the chefs are always available to answer questions and help ensure that the options meet any of your dietary needs or concerns.

1. The ability to budget

The Crystal Palace only offers a buffet-style dining experience. This means that the price only varies based on whether you dine for breakfast, lunch or dinner with dinner being the most expensive of the options. The buffet price includes beverages, so you are able to easily budget the meal costs into your budget and plan ahead. This gives you one less thing to worry about when it comes to planning your perfect Disney vacation.

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
