There are plenty of simple tips and tricks that guests might not know about which will help them save time and have a blast in the park. Here are seven things that no one tells guests about visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.

7. Rope Drop –

The best tip for saving time in any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks is to arrive for rope drop. This entails arriving before the park is officially open to the public which allows guests to enter with few crowds and low wait times. Guests who arrive before rope drop at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are treated to a speech welcoming them to the park and they can then take off to their favorite attraction or experience with ease!

6. Toy Story Mania –

This is by far the most popular attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and it can easily reach wait times of over two hours on busy days in the park. The attraction is so popular because it is tons of fun! Guests are shrunken down to the size of a toy and play various 3D midway games with Woody, Buzz, and the Toy Story gang to see who can score the highest point. Since there is some healthy competition, guests are sure to want to experience the attraction more than once on a day in the park and there is a simple tip to be able to do so! Guests should arrive at the park for rope drop and head immediately to Toy Story Mania where they can wait on the standby line which usually has little to no wait time. Guests should also book a FastPass in advance for the attraction at another point in the day, allowing them to return and ride again with little to no wait!

Since the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is so popular, the wait can definitely be long on busy days making it hard to not lose a lot of time spent waiting on line. A great way to still experience the attraction while saving time is to take advantage of the Single Rider line. Single Riders lines can be found throughout Walt Disney World and offer guests the chance to experience popular attractions with much lower wait times. Guests who opt for the Single Rider line will be split up before boarding, but still get to experience the attraction and will have saved a significant amount of time that otherwise would have been spent waiting in line!
