Walt Disney World is the ultimate vacation destination for many guests as it is home to unforgettable experiences scattered throughout theme parks, Disney Resorts, and shopping areas. With so many amazing things to enjoy while on a Disney vacation, many guests love to spend plenty of time in Epcot. Despite the current re-imagining of Epcot, the park is still a favorite of many thanks to all it has to offer. Make the most out of your time at Epcot with a few simple tips designed to save time and frustration.

7. Skip Spaceship Earth At First —
Guests who visit Epcot enter into the park through Future World and are immediately met with the massive and beautiful Spaceship Earth. The attraction is housed in a large geodesic sphere which is covered in thousands of futuristic silver triangles. Guests who enjoy a ride on Spaceship Earth can learn about the history of communication through various scenes and audio-animatronics. While Spaceship Earth is a fast loading attraction, guests tend to immediately head towards it when entering into Epcot creating a bottleneck and relatively long lines. Guests who are looking to make the most of their time in Epcot will bypass Spaceship Earth when entering into the park and instead opt to visit the attraction later in the day when the bottleneck is diminished.
6. FastPass Soarin’ or Frozen Ever After —
Two of the most popular attractions in Epcot are Soarin’ and Frozen Ever After. Soarin’ invites guests to take to the skies on a thrilling and unique hang gliding experience which will leave them speechless. Frozen Ever After is a family friendly boat ride featuring all our favorite Frozen characters. Both Soarin’ and Frozen Ever After are on Tier 1 which means only one of them can be selected making balancing the two tricky. We recommend snagging a FastPass for Frozen Ever After for the afternoon, then plan to head to Soarin’ right at park opening. The reverse could also work! This leaves you with the ability to go to Test Track next. See note below about Test Track!
5. Use The Single Rider Line For Test Track Presented By Chevrolet —
Also found in Future World is another popular and thrilling attraction which is a favorite of many guests. Test Track Presented by Chevrolet invites guests into the design studio where they can create their very own SIM cars and then test them on the track in a series of tasks and scenarios. Guests love the speed and thrill of Test Track Presented by Chevrolet and the wait times for the attraction often tend to be high. Guests who want to enjoy the attraction without spending hours waiting on the standby line should instead opt for the single rider line. This option allows guests to enjoy the same ride experience with typically much lower wait times so long as they don’t mind their parties being split up at the loading area.
4. Enjoy The Underrated —
Most guests who visit Epcot tend to head directly for popular and thrilling attractions like Soarin’ and Test Track Presented by Chevrolet and often overlook other attractions which are considered underrated. These underrated attractions are all amazing in their own ways and offer unique experiences which guests are sure to love when visiting Epcot. Guests who spend time in the park should definitely not miss out on Journey into Imagination with Figment, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Living with the Land.
3. Enjoy The Attractions of World Showcase —
While Future World is home to many different attractions, there are also several scattered throughout World Showcase which guests tend to skip over in favor of wandering through the shops and dining locations of each pavilion. Guests who spend time in Epcot’s World Showcase should be sure to take the time and stop in each pavilion which features an attraction to enjoy the experience. The attractions of World Showcase include The Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros in the Mexico Pavilion, Frozen Ever After in the Norway Pavilion, Reflections of China in the China Pavilion, the American Adventure in the America Pavilion, Impressions de France and Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along in the France Pavilion, and Canada Far and Wide in the Canada Pavilion.

2. Dine In World Showcase —
Each pavilion in World Showcase is home to at least one quick service and one full service dining location which serves up traditional cuisine from that particular country. Guests who want to make the most of their time in Epcot should plan on spending plenty of time exploring and enjoying World Showcase and opt to eat at least one meal there. From authentic Mexican cuisine at the beautiful San Angel Inn Restaurante to the lively and festive German buffet at the Beirgarten Restaurant, there are endless options to choose from in World Showcase!
1. Line Up Early For The Nighttime Spectacular —
Each evening in Epcot comes to a close with a nighttime spectacular. The show takes place on World Showcase Lagoon. Guests can expect laser lights, pyrotechnics, special effects, fireworks, beautiful music, and more. Since the nighttime spectacular is such a popular show, guests tend to begin gathering around World Showcase Lagoon at least an hour before it begins. Those who are looking to enjoy the best possible views should plan accordingly and line up early!
