8 Things You’ll Love About STK Orlando at Walt Disney World

STK Orlando is one of the fine dining experiences available in the Disney Springs area of Walt Disney World. If you haven’t visited this one, then you will definitely want to add it to your dining bucket list.  Here are 8 things you are going to love about STK Orlando:

8. The atmosphere and vibe.

You can feel the energy for the restaurant when you walk in.  The location is upscale and feels like an upscale dining experience but one that is also more hip and trendy.  The menu offers unique selections that pair well with the high-energy vibe.  There is music played throughout the restaurant to also keep the energy up while you dine.

7. Disney Dining Plans and select discounts accepted.

If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, then you will definitely want to check out STK Orlando.  You will need one of the Disney Dining Plans that offer table service entitlements and the meal will require 2 entitlements per person.  You will also want to ask about other discount options that are available, like Tables in Wonderland, Disney Vacation Club Member, Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, etc.

6. The delicious brunch service.

STK Orlando is open for lunch and dinner, as well as later into the evening for guests who like to hang out late at Disney Springs.  Many guests may not realize that there is also a brunch offering.  The brunch is offered on Saturdays and Sundays for guests who are looking for a delicious way to start the day.  The offerings are amazing, with one of my favorites being the Crab Cakes Benedict, which includes poached eggs, whole grain mustard béarnaise and asparagus salad.

5. The selection of sauces.

I love sauces and am one of those people who love dipping everything that I can into sauces.  At STK Orlando, there is a selection of sauces to choose from to accompany your meal.  Guests can each choose 1 sauce and then additional are $2 each.  Guests can also purchase a full sauce plate for $16.  Here is a rundown of the available sauces:  STK, Au Poivre, Chimichurri, Béarnaise, STK Bold, Horseradish, Blue Butter and Red Wine.

4. The upstairs area of the restaurant.

The downstairs area appears more upscale and gives you a real fine dining feel.  When you head upstairs, it feels like you still get a nice upscale place to dine, but done more casually.  The best part is the open patio area that is upstairs, which offers amazing views of the Disney Springs area and a great place to hang out outside if the weather isn’t too hot.  This is a great spot to be in the evening after the sun goes down and you can enjoy the lights on the patio as well as around the area.

3. There are private dining rooms and special event offerings.

If you are looking for a place to host a private event, then you will definitely want to talk to the staff to see what options are available for your perfect event.  There are also other special event offerings that frequently occur at the restaurant.  You may find a few different holiday and seasonal specials and menu offerings. There is also a special Thanksgiving and Christmas menu available for guests who will be visiting on holidays.

2. The raw bar.

I am a big sushi fan, as well as various seafood options, so the raw bar that is offered at STK Orlando is definitely one of my favorite offerings.  The menu includes Oysters on a Half Shell, Shrimp Cocktail, Ceviche and Alaskan King Crab.  These are definitely pricey options, but if you love fresh seafood, you definitely won’t want to miss out!  You can also check out the seafood platter options if you are looking for something a little larger with more options.

1. The delicious steak selections.

If you love steak, then you have definitely come to the right place.  There are a variety of different types of steak in different sizes, so that you can make the perfect steak selection for you.  The prices range from $43 to $128, depending on which steak you select.  The most expensive steak is the Dry-Aged Tomahawk Ribeye, which is 34 ounces and definitely big enough for two to share. Sides are purchased separately and there is a large selection of options there, too!

About Christy Caby

I am a diehard Disney fanatic! I fell in love with all things Disney from an early age and that only increased once I first visited Walt Disney World! It led me to complete a yearlong Disney College Program working at merchandise locations within Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Disney-MGM Studios at that time) and I worked for Disney Parks & Resorts Technology in Project/Program Management. Now I get to write about Disney and help others plan their magical vacations! Disney holds a special place in the hearts of my entire family as my husband proposed there, we honeymooned there, took trips while pregnant with each of my boys and have visited with them many, many times from 8 weeks old through now. One of my favorite memories from each trip is always the look on my kids’ faces the first time they see the castle. I’d love to help you plan your magical vacation!
