A highly coordinated and incredibly dangerous social media trend has Southern California law enforcement on high alert. Just one week after a massive “teen takeover” devolved into a violent, chaotic riot in Newport Beach, authorities are officially warning that the organized flash mobs are now targeting major tourist attractions.
The Buena Park Police Department has issued an urgent public warning regarding an unsanctioned, massive teen takeover specifically targeting Knott’s Berry Farm. With a similar event simultaneously planned for nearby Huntington Beach, Orange County is bracing for what could be an explosive weekend.

“We are aware of an unsanctioned event being planned at Knott’s Berry Farm,” Buena Park Police Department officials announced on social media. “We have worked with park officials and our public safety partners to identify those responsible for organizing this unauthorized gathering.”
