Disney Adds All-New Stitch Experience to Magic Kingdom Starting This Month

Stitch has become one of the most popular characters at Walt Disney World, and his fan base only seems to keep growing. Every day, guests wander into Tomorrowland hoping to catch a glimpse of the mischievous blue alien, snap a photo, or bring home a piece of Stitch merchandise. From plush toys to ears to spirit jerseys, Stitch is everywhere, and Disney has clearly taken notice. Now, the beloved character is getting a brand-new holiday experience at Magic Kingdom this month.

Disney has announced Stitchmas!, an all-new Stitch-themed dance party coming to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Hosted by Lilo and Stitch, the new experience invites guests of all ages to dance, sing, and celebrate the holidays island-style. It’s the perfect addition for Stitch fans who have been hoping for more chances to see him around the parks.

This isn’t Stitch’s first after-hours party appearance this year, either. Earlier this fall, he hosted his own Halloween dance party at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Now he’s sticking around for the holidays. Here’s everything you need to know about Stitchmas!, where to find it, and how it fits into this year’s party lineup.

What Is Stitchmas!?

Stitchmas! is a new dance party at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party hosted by Lilo and Stitch. It’s designed for guests of all ages, and the only thing you need to join in is a party ticket.

Disney describes the experience this way: “Celebrate Stitchmas! at an out-of-this-world holiday party. Dance, sing, and play along as Lilo and Stitch reminisce with some of their closest friends about holidays on the island. Make merry memories together as you rock around the tinsel tree!”

That island holiday theme is a fun twist on the usual Christmas celebration, blending Hawaiian vibes with festive cheer.

Who Will Join Lilo and Stitch?

Disney hasn’t revealed which friends will be joining Lilo and Stitch at the party. However, Angel danced alongside them during Stitch’s Halloween party this year, so she could be a possibility.

For now, guests will have to wait until opening night to see who shows up.

Where and When to Find Stitchmas!

Stitchmas! will take place inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Tomorrowland. It runs on select party nights from November 8 through December 22.

Set times haven’t been posted in the My Disney Experience app yet. For reference, last year’s Disney Jr. Jingle Jam took over the same space for the entire party, running from 7:00 PM to midnight.

Since Stitchmas! is indoors, it also gives families a nice break from the crowds and a cozy spot to dance between the bigger shows and parades.

Replacing a Family Favorite

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café has hosted kid-friendly dance parties during past Christmas parties. Last year, it was home to Disney Jr. Jingle Jam, which many young partygoers will remember.

Before that, the restaurant hosted Club Tinsel, a DJ dance party. Club Tinsel moved to the Rockettower Plaza Stage last year.

Disney’s 2026 party listing no longer mentions Disney Jr. Jingle Jam, so it looks like Stitchmas! will be the main dance party for little ones this season.

Stitch’s Busy Party Season

Stitchmas! marks Stitch’s second party debut of 2026. In the spring, Disney announced A Masquerade with Stitch for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

That Halloween dance party took place at the Rockettower Plaza Stage. Stitch changed themes every time he pulled a new accessory out of Lilo’s Costume Trunk, and Lilo and Angel joined him on stage.

Stitchmas! takes things indoors and swaps the costume trunk for memories of holidays on the island. With dance parties at both of Magic Kingdom’s hard-ticket events this year, Stitch is getting a lot more attention than he has in the past.

Why Stitch Fans Will Love This

Stitch’s popularity has exploded in recent years, and fans are always looking for more ways to see him. A dedicated holiday dance party gives guests a chance to spend time with Stitch and Lilo in a fun, interactive setting.

For families with young Stitch fans, this could quickly become one of the highlights of their party night.

Getting a Ticket

The tricky part is getting in. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets range from $189 to $229 plus tax, depending on the night.

Tickets are going fast. As of the latest check, 16 of the 25 party nights had already sold out. If you’re hoping to celebrate Stitchmas!, it’s a good idea to check availability soon.
