Up House Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread, low-sodium
  • 1 slice turkey, low sodium
  • 6 slices kiwi
  • 4 cantaloupe-ball
  • 4 pineapple-ball
  • 10 carrot sticks
  • 1 Mini Babybel cheese, unwrapped
  • 1 Mini Babybel cheese, in wax
  • 8 oz. skim milk

Helpful Tip: All cutting should be done by an adult. Also, this recipe gets a Disney Check. It’s a quick and easy way for families to identify better foods and beverages that meet Disney’s nutrition guideline criteria, and helps kids and parents agree on better choices.

Directions:

  1. Place the turkey slice in between the bread. Carefully slice the sandwich in the shape of a house.
  2. Carefully slice the Mini Babybel cheese lengthwise, about ¼ of an inch. Slice the discs into cloud shapes.
  3. Place the sandwich on the base part of a plate.
  4. Assemble the balloons on the plate above the sandwich. Use the cantaloupe ball, pineapple ball, and wrapped Mini Babybel cheese as balloons, and the carrot sticks as strings.
  5. Place the clouds around the house and balloons.
  6. Serve with milk and enjoy!
