Good news Disney travelers! More direct flights will be arriving soon at Walt Disney World’s closest airport, Orlando International. Southwest Airlines along with others have announced new direct flights to Florida, as well as more frequent flights to Orlando.

As reported by OrlandoBusinessJournal: “In addition to the new flights, Southwest Airlines is increasing flight frequencies for its nonstop routes from Milwaukee to Orlando, Fort Myers, Tampa and Phoenix. These changes will begin April 12. The additions come as American Airlines said it plans to add nonstop, daily service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas to Orlando, Tampa and New Orleans. Meanwhile, Spirit Airlines recently announced it will launch at the Milwaukee airport in early June with nonstop flights to Orlando, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. In addition, starting May 27, Spirit will offer daily nonstop flights from St. Louis Lambert International Airport in Missouri to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Pensacola, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.”
